Mucaad Ibrahim was the youngest victim of the Al Noor Mosque and Linwood Islamic Centre attacks in Christchurch on 15 March 2019. He was only three years old. The Ibrahims’ and other victims’ families were grieving him in the shadow of global media coverage.
Speaking to anthropologist Dr Carmen Jacques, Mucaad’s sisters, Luul and Khadra Ibrahim reflect upon their experiences of the media coverage and its impact after the attacks.
